Welcome to our site… let’s do a few introductions.

I’m Gwen, I live in Limburg (Belgium) together with Tom. Since we bought our own home with a nice backyard we have had a dog in the house. I’ve been crazy about Border Collies since I was 14 years old. Laika was my first dog and she only made me love the breed more than before. She was so loyal, sweet, energetic and had a gr eat will-to-please.

Juli 2009 we decided to get a pup to join our family. We looked at lots of breeders and finally found our favorite pup… Van ’t Debeshof Indi. She joined us in September 2009 at the age of 7 weeks. It was very sad for us that only a few weeks later Laika got seizures and with those health problems we had to let her go. Time for heartache was limited with a 9 weeks old pup in the house that needed training! She has a lot of character and needed some discipline.

Indi is totally different from Laika (and we are glad she is) she has a will of her own, can be very sweet and relaxed but needs mental exercise to fulfill her very energetic working genes, she will do any trick for food, she loves Agility and Frisbee.

She is really too smart for us. Very intelligent and does know when she can do things she is not allowed to.

In Februari 2011 General Of Maranns Home joined our family. You can find him on this site a s Kasba (his call-name). He is a very sweet and cuddly dog, but also has a lot of energy. We are starting Agility with him, to give him a changes to use his enthusiasm and playfulness while creating a connection to us because he is working with us.

Kasba & Indi are very different but we love them both very much. Kasba is very well integrated into our family, and loved by everybody we come in contact with.
